ALI IBN ABI TALIB school is a private non-profit organization. It was established
in 1991 and received accreditation of preschool and elementary education in 1993 from
Quebec Ministry of Education.

The school officially opened in September 08,1993 with six elementary, one preschool and
three kindergarten classes.
all our policies are guided by the holy Qur'an and the Sunnah of the prophet Muhammad
(may the peace & blessing of Allah be upon him).
Islam pervades every aspect of the school. The children are helped to express Islamic attitudes
and behavior proudly and openly. We believe in an education, which is child-centered, and
we aim to provide an environment that allows the children to become self-directed, thinkers
learners.
Cooperation is emphasized over competition and is fostered by sharing assignments and
students helping one another.
We believe that each child is unique and individual, therefore encourage different learning styles.
It's our goal to strengthen the child in order to help him or her to deal with the challenges of
living in the North-American society. We offer the ultimate in academic excellence so that our children will be prepared to take an active role in the worldwide society.

ALI IBN ABI TALIB SCHOOL strives to preserve the culture and languages of the international Muslim community by seedling into the children a pride in their heritage.
We put a great emphasis on Qur'anic teaching and a proper Islamic conduct. As well
We enable children to master the Arabic language to provide access to the original
sources of Islamic knowledge.

We view spiritual, intellectual and physical development as a whole and offer a wide variety
Of courses.
The principal language of instruction is French; there are courses in English and Arabic.
The school houses a prayer's room and an Islamic library.
